Jason Michael is a founding member of The Butterfly Rebellion, author of the Random Public Journal blog, and a columnist for iScot Magazine. He is a lifelong supporter of Scottish independence and has been active in the independence movement since the beginning of the 2012-14 referendum campaign. As a Scot living in Dublin, protecting Scotland from the effects of a London-imposed Brexit is a matter very close to his heart. His speaking tour around Scotland has one objective: To hammer home the serious danger posed to our democracy, our parliament, and to the independence cause by being torn from the European Union without our consent. After 29 March 2019, if Westminster has its way, the campaign for independence will become significantly more difficult. If we want independence – in our lifetimes – then the time to act is now. Time is fast running out.
